Aqualo Privacy Policy
Effective date: 9 August 2026 · Applies to Aqualo on Android and iOS
This policy explains what information the Aqualo mobile game (“the app”, “we”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Aqualo is a free-to-play water-sort puzzle game supported by ads. There are no in-app purchases, and you do not need an account to play.
Information we collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. The app uses the following third-party services, which may collect limited data automatically:
- Advertising identifier. Aqualo shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may access your device’s advertising identifier — the Advertising ID on Android, or the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS — and related technical data (device type, coarse region, ad interactions). In the EEA/UK you are asked for consent on first launch; if you decline, ads are shown in a non-personalized form. See Your choices below for how consent works on each platform.
- Gameplay analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics (with Remote Config) to understand how the game is used (for example, which levels are played and completed) and to tune features. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
- Crash diagnostics. We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to record crashes and stability problems. When the app crashes, Crashlytics collects a crash trace, your device model, operating-system version and app version, along with a randomly generated installation identifier. None of this identifies you personally.
- Notifications (optional). With your permission, the app schedules local reminders (e.g. your daily streak). These are generated on your device.
Your game progress (levels completed, stars, coins, settings) is stored on your device and is not uploaded to us. The app is fully playable offline; the data above is only sent when you have a network connection.
How we use information
- To display and measure advertisements (the app’s only source of revenue).
- To understand gameplay trends and improve level design and stability.
- To diagnose and fix crashes and other technical issues.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use this information for any purpose other than operating and improving Aqualo.
Third-party services
These services process data as described in their own privacy policies:
Your choices
- Personalized ads (Android): reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads), and manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
- App Tracking Transparency (iOS): on first launch the app asks for your permission before it may access the IDFA for personalized advertising. If you decline, ads are shown in a non-personalized form. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or per-app under Settings → Aqualo.
- Notifications: deny or revoke the notification permission at any time in your device settings.
- On-device data: because the app stores no account, uninstalling Aqualo removes the on-device data associated with your play.
Children’s privacy
Aqualo is intended for players 13 and older and is not directed to children. Ad content is configured to a family-safe (“G”) rating, and the Gambling & Betting ad category is blocked. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above.
