Privacy Policy — Stuck Arrows
Effective date: 11 July 2026
This policy explains what information the Stuck Arrows mobile game (“the app”, “we”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Stuck Arrows is a free-to-play puzzle game supported by optional ads and optional in-app purchases.
Information we collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. The app collects:
- A random device identifier. On first launch the app generates a random ID (not linked to your real identity) stored on your device and sent with analytics events so we can measure retention and improve the game.
- Gameplay and usage analytics. Events such as levels completed, purchases viewed, and ads shown, sent to our analytics provider (Amplitude).
- Advertising identifier. Our ads provider (Google AdMob) may access your device’s advertising ID to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit this ID in your device settings.
- Purchase records. In-app purchases are processed by Google Play / the Apple App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase completed; we never receive or store your payment card details.
- Google account (optional). If you choose to sign in to compare scores on the leaderboard, Google Play Games provides your public player profile (display name and player ID). Signing in is entirely optional.
- Notifications (optional). With your permission, the app schedules local reminders (e.g. your daily streak). These are generated on your device.
The app is fully playable offline; the data above is only sent when you have a network connection.
How we use information
- To operate and improve gameplay, difficulty, and the in-game economy.
- To display ads and, where applicable, personalized ads.
- To process and restore in-app purchases.
- To show optional leaderboards when you sign in.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
These services process data as described in their own privacy policies:
Your choices
- Ads: purchase “Remove Ads” to stop interstitial ads, or reset your advertising ID in device settings to limit personalization.
- Notifications: deny or revoke the notification permission at any time in your device settings.
- Leaderboards: simply don’t sign in; the game is fully playable without it.
Data retention and deletion
Game progress is stored locally on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. Analytics data tied to your random device identifier is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above. To request deletion of data associated with your device identifier or Google player ID, contact us at itinyjava+stuckarrows@gmail.com and we will action the request.
Children’s privacy
Stuck Arrows is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above.
